#1 Richard J. Dunn
Richard J. Dunn Jr. has been a resident of Old Bridge Township for 26 years, moving from Staten Island, NY in 1998. He has been married to his wife, Kristine (1st Grade Teacher ~ Cooper Elementary School) for 32 years and has two children, Erin, 26 and Reagan 20.
Mr. Dunn attended the City University of New York ~ College of Staten Island and graduated with a BA in History and secondary education. He attended New York University ~ School of Continuing Education and received a 2-year certificate in Real Estate and Construction Management.
Currently employed as Senior Vice President of a Newark-based real estate company, Mr. Dunn has over 35 years of experience in real estate management, development, and construction. Additionally, Mr. Dunn has been a volunteer firefighter with the South Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Company for 21 years, attaining the position of Chief of the Department from December 2020 to December 2022.
Mr. Dunn was elected to the Old Bridge Board of Education in April 2011 and served for 10 years. He is a two-time past President and counts as his greatest accolade as President the ability to get full-time Kindergarten approved and implemented in 2013, which was a monumental achievement for our school district and community.
Mr. Dunn was also appointed to the Old Bridge Township Planning Board as an alternate member for a one-year period in 2017. He is a community minded volunteer with extensive experience in business administration and management in both private and public sectors.
Based upon his considerable experience as a business leader, first responder, and prior school board member, Mr. Dunn is well-positioned to assume the responsibilities and challenges that are required of an effective school board member.
#6 Mireille Cameau-Wicks
Mireille Cameau-Wicks, a parent, homeowner, and taxpayer, has lived in Old Bridge since 1979. Her 45-year connection to this community began when her parents chose to make Old Bridge their home. As an alum of the Old Bridge school system, attending Glenn, Miller, Carpenter, Salk, and Madison Central schools, Ms. Cameau-Wicks is proud of her educational background from Old Bridge Public Schools.
Her family’s roots run deep in the area, with five cousins who are also graduates of the Old Bridge schools. Two of her children are Old Bridge High School alumni, class of 2019 and 2024, and her youngest is now in middle school.
Ms. Cameau-Wicks’ longstanding and profound connection to the Old Bridge community reflects her commitment to its future and why she wants to ensure all children have the same opportunity as her family. Her experience with the Old Bridge school systems is extensive, encompassing PTA and SEPTA memberships, as well as roles as a class and school volunteer. She has also been actively involved in Board of Education meetings, BOE committees, and Old Bridge community activities.
Ms. Cameau-Wicks actively takes part in Board of Education meetings and committees, attending and speaking publicly, while also serving as an advocate for the town’s residents and parents. Additionally, she has coached for the town’s recreation Old Bridge Basketball Association in both the High School boys and Middle School girls’ leagues.
With more than 25 years of experience in business administration and the streamlining of organizational processes, she offers a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise. She has overseen budgets from $3 million to $40 million, achieving considerable savings, and plans to apply her professional experience to help the BOE effectively manage and economize the school’s budget.
